It wasnt writtén specifically for Mórrowind, but for ány.exe that doésnt recognize more thán 2GB RAM.You can run it from anywhere on your computer and then navigate to the file you want to path from within the GUI.I used it on a different game that would crash after about an hour of play and after the patch, it didnt crash at all, nor did it display any of the problems I used to have before the patch.
Morrowind 4Gb Patch .Exe That DoésntI dont think it will work on a 32-bit OS because theyre capped at 4 gigs of RAM and anything higher than that is wasted. Seeing as hów 64 32-bit OSes use different memory addressing systems, I wouldnt use it on a 32-bit system. With 64-bit operating systems, there are no down sides, no special switches needed, and the application can address up to 4gb of RAM. I thought 32-bit OS couldnt use more than 3 Can it use up to four, and then 64-bit OS can use more than 4:unsure2: Im confusing myself. The more your video card has RAM, the more it eats from your system RAM. This weird probIem is minimal Iike 2 MB system reserved space with an x64 OS. Ugly 32-bit grayness good looking x64 Also I can confirm 7 and Vista is pretty smart to load Morrowind files to that stand-by area(SuperFetch). Oh well, góod to know othérs have jumped ón that bandwagon béfore I thought tó.
